WSGR Educational Salon for future Neurotech Entrepreneurs
Boston, 2019
Boston Neurotech Entrepreneurship Salon
In 2019, BrainMind and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR) co-hosted an educational salon in Boston for aspiring neurotechnology entrepreneurs. The event drew undergraduate and graduate students from Harvard, MIT, and Boston University for an evening of practical insights on building companies at the intersection of brain science and technology.
Featured speakers included Ramses Alcaide, CEO of Neurable, and Stephen Kennedy Smith, co-founder of Pear Therapeutics and New Frontier Bio, who shared personal perspectives on launching and scaling neurotech ventures. Representatives from Wilson Sonsini, including Mark Solakian and Jake Gatof, led sessions on legal strategy, intellectual property, deal-making, and startup formation.
The evening served as a crash course in entrepreneurship for the next generation of innovators in the brain and mind space, capped with lively discussion over dinner at one of Boston’s leading steakhouses
