Amy Kruse, Ph.D.

Dr. Amy Kruse is the CIO of Satori Neuro, a venture fund focused on mental health, neurotechnology, and human flourishing. With her experience as a neuroscientist, operator, and government program manager, she identifies transformational companies addressing mental health and wellness challenges. Amy supports Satori Neuro's portfolio companies by using her expertise to overcome scientific and implementation challenges. Before Satori Neuro, she was a General Partner at Prime Movers Lab, where she led life sciences investments. Amy previously served as the CSO of Optios, the VP and CTO of Cubic Global Defense, and a program manager at DARPA. She is a Founding Member of the Loomis Innovation Council and a Guest Lecturer for Singularity University. Amy earned a BS in Cell and Structural Biology and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Juan Enriquez

Juan Enriquez is an influential business leader, entrepreneur, and expert on the economic impact of life sciences on society. He is the Managing Director at Excel Venture Management and represents Excel on the boards of Foodsmart, NeoSensory, and Openwater. Juan was the founding director of the Harvard Business School's Life Sciences Project and authored the best-selling book, As The Future Catches You, which outlined how a bio-based economy changes industries and corporations. He is also a co-author of Evolving Ourselves: How Unnatural Selection and Nonrandom Mutation are Changing Life on Earth. Juan is an active angel investor and founder of Biotechonomy Ventures. He advises CEOs of Fortune 50 companies and heads of state on adapting to a world where the language of life is becoming dominant. Juan serves on multiple boards, including Cabot Corp. the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, The Boston Science Museum, GBH, and Questbridge, as well as diverse working groups at the National Academies. He graduated from Harvard with honors with both a B.A. and M.B.A.
